- Wow, these are stunning! I am also a nature photographer at heart. I just don’t have those views down here in flat ol’ Florida! Sure we have the beaches … but man, those mountains are magnificent! As a child, we always traveled a few times a year “out west” (well, really mid-west) where my parents’ families were from … Dad’s in Idaho and Mom’s in Illinois. I remember driving through mountains and pretending I had a camera in my hand, taking pretend “pictures” through my fingers from the back seat. Yes, even as a little girl I wanted to photograph the world. I’m so glad you get to do this – your work with people is amazing, but I agree that we all need to feed our souls with a little something just for us.
